Patch Notes are updates that BIGFOOT received.


Note: Keep in mind that something mentioned in an earlier changelogs may no longer exist in the game.

Update 4.0 (Aug. 6, 2021)

General

  • Added a game mode against Bigfoot under player control;

  • Added notes, magazines, and other items with which you can study the history of tourists who disappeared in the preserves;
  • Added game difficulty settings;
  • Refactoring of the entire code has been done;

Bigfoot

Abilities

  • Howl - allows you to spot hunters and animals at a great distance;
  • Trap - allows you to set a hanging trap next to trees;
  • Savage hits - Bigfoot inflicts many quick hits on the victim;
  • Ram run - Bigfoot runs up and rams everyone in the way;
  • Furious throw - Bigfoot takes and pushes the victim into the ground;
  • Rage - Bigfoot gets furious and spends a few seconds much less energy to fight;
  • Fatality - effectively finishing off hunters on death.

Passive abilities

  • Night damage resist - allows Bigfoot to receive reduced damage from any type of weapon at night;
  • Bigfoot can smell food nearby.

Hunters

  • Added new characters with high-quality models;
  • Reworked all animations. Most of it was done with Motion Capture;
  • Added a parkour system through small obstacles such as fences and windows;
  • Added the ability to throw melee weapons;
  • Added the ability to climb over obstacles.

Weapons

  • Added explosive objects: gas bottle, canister, dynamite, car battery;
  • Added new firearms and animations to them: M4, Remington 700, Remington 870, Glock 17, AWM;
  • Bullets now have ballistic physics;
  • Added a stun gun to the drone.

Update 4.0 Hotfix 1 (Aug. 8, 2021)

  • Added the ability to invite friends directly to the lobby using the steam invite system.

Update 4.1 Hotfix 2 (Nov. 4, 2021)

  • The lobby list is now only the unplayed lobby.
  • On the lobby list, friends' lobbies come first.
  • The game mode is now displayed in the lobby list.
  • The lobby list now updates the lobby information in real-time.

Fixed

  • Bigfoot could not destroy the zipline.
  • When choosing a set for a weapon, the magazine with cartridges did not change the material.
  • There was an incorrect position of the R700 weapon in the lobby.

  • Bigfoot's energy replenishment block now only works from damage from hunters and ignores damage from animals.
  • Maximum FOV increased from 90 to 120.

  • Bigfoot Item Throw Cooldown — 5 sec, Power Cost — 5. Added 50% destruction after item throw.
  • Totem spawn randomization system.
  • Weapon spawn randomization system for Remington 700 / 870 / Glock 17 / FlareGun.
  • Window break jump now deals 10 damage. Jumping through a broken window deals 1 damage.
  • Now, when carrying a wounded friend, your character can run.
  • The signal flyer no longer scares away the Bigfoot but slows it down. Also, Bigfoot can now use hits while blinded if you get too close to him.

Note: This update was withdrawn due to complaints regarding its integration into the Epic Games Store and requiring and Epic Games account to play. It would later be release without this requirement, and with several bugfixes, as 5.0.1.
