The in-game time in BIGFOOT can be useful to determine how far away the next dawn/dusk is.

Summary

The time as shown in the radial menu, less than an hour away from the start of night 3.

Time in BIGFOOT follows the regular 24 hour system, but sped up so that one minute in-game equates to 0.5 seconds in real life, and 1 hour = 30 seconds. In other words, time in-game passes by 120 times faster.

Time starts progressing as soon as the game starts, even before you can move around. This means that you will have slightly more time if you skip the introductory lore as soon as it pops up.

Additionally, time is tracked by "nights" rather than days. A new night starts every 24 in-game hours at 6:00 p.m. You are spawned in by the trailer shortly before night 1. Bigfoot will only actively seek you out during the night time, starting at night 2. Assuming you skip the intro right away, this means that you are mostly safe until 16 minutes and 40 seconds have passed in real life. Bigfoot will always search for you during the night, and the best way to prevent him from finding you is to hide in a building with all lights off, while making no noise. This isn't guaranteed to work however, as he will still search for you.
