Flare Gun

The flare gun is a ranged weapon with the functionality of stunning Bigfoot.

Summary

Flare gun bullets are required to shoot the flare gun. One bullet can be loaded in the gun at a time. Upon a direct hit on Bigfoot, he will become stunned for roughly 2.6 seconds and be set on fire for about 4 seconds. The initial hit deals 1 damage, and the fire deals a 10 points of damage over time.

If playing in a larger group, William should generally be given the flare gun, as he does +10% blind duration, increasing the stun time to 3 seconds.

In version 5.0 and on, AI Bigfoot runs away after getting flared. Prior to this version, the flare gun was an effective tool for distancing yourself from Bigfoot during a fight, as no amount of flares would scare him.

In PvP, the flare gun is especially useful, as it blinds Bigfoot, rendering them mostly unable to see for a short time.
